I disagree. I think it’s a lot more nuanced, and in many cases, AI tools can actually benefit artists rather than harm them. Here's why:
AI isn’t some evil force trying to erase artists—it’s a tool. Just like Photoshop or 3D modeling software, it helps you generate ideas, explore styles, and iterate quickly. Plenty of artists use it for concept sketches, moodboards, or to overcome creative blocks. The human touch is still what makes a piece truly meaningful.
Not everyone has the time, training, or resources to become a traditional artist. AI opens the door for more people to express themselves visually—people with disabilities, those who can’t afford expensive materials, or who are new to art. That’s not killing art. That’s growing it.
Some artists already use AI in their workflow—and they’re making amazing hybrid works. Just like photography didn’t kill painting, and digital art didn’t kill traditional art, AI is just another evolution of the medium. Artists adapt.
Yes, there are real concerns—like theft of style, unethical datasets, or mass production of junk content. But these are issues of how AI is used, not the technology itself. Blaming all AI use for the bad actors is like blaming paintbrushes for art theft.
AI has already created new artistic opportunities—prompt crafting, AI-assisted animation, and even full-time roles around curating or directing AI visuals. These fields didn’t exist a few years ago. Artists can help shape them.
At the end of the day, AI doesn’t feel. It doesn’t have lived experiences or emotions. The art that moves us is created by people. No matter how realistic an AI image is, it can’t replicate the meaning or story behind a human-created work.
So no, I don’t believe AI image generators are "the worst" thing to happen to artists. Like any tool, it depends on who's using it—and how. If anything, I see AI as a new brush, not a bulldozer.

Agree, that's a way to create art and I believe only the greedi artists are afraid from. 
Hell that's an awesome style, I would love to see more.
